MEET MIKE
Mike Thompson represents California's 4th Congressional District. The district includes all of Napa and Lake Counties and parts of Solano, Sonoma, and Yolo Counties. He was first elected in 1998. Prior to serving in Congress, Rep. Thompson represented California's 2nd District in the California State Senate where he chaired the powerful Budget Committee.
He is a member of the powerful House Committee on Ways and Means.

Napa, CA – Today, Congressman Mike Thompson (CA-04) joined Congressman Jared Huffman (CA-02), U.S. Senator Adam Schiff (D-CA), and every member of the Bay Area delegation to introduce legislation to help designate the 550+ mile Bay Area Ridge Trail as a National Scenic Trail. This designation would enhance the trail’s visibility as a world-class recreation opportunity and attract new visitors, in addition to helping connect the different routes within the trail.
Woodland, CA– Today, Rep. Mike Thompson (CA-04) presented a $375,000 Community Project Funding (CPF) check to the Yolo Food Bank in support of its Mobile Food Pantry Project, expanding access to fresh, nutritious food for families and communities across Yolo County.
