Thompson Reacts to Release of Redacted Mueller Report

Calls for release of full document, public testimony from Mueller

Washington – Today Rep. Mike Thompson (CA-05) released the following statement in reaction to the release of Special Counsel Robert Mueller's Report on the Investigation into Russian Interference in the 2016 Presidential Election, a redacted version of which was delivered to Congress today. "I've received the redacted copy of the Special Counsel's report and I'm in the process of reviewing it. Congress must be able to review the unredacted report and all underlying evidence. The Special Counsel must also testify publicly before Congress. The American people deserve complete transparency and an impartial, nonpartisan understanding of what the report contains in order to restore public trust."
