Davis, CA – Rep. Mike Thompson (CA-04) presented a $1,000,000 check to Davis Mayor Donna Neville, Yolo County Supervisors Lucas Frerichs and Sheila Allen, and Capitol Corridor Managing Director Robert Padgette for the Amtrak Depot / Olive Drive Connection Project. The funding will support the construction of a pedestrian and bicycle connection from Olive Drive to the Davis Amtrak Station, improving access and public safety for South Davis residents.
Yountville – Rep. Mike Thompson (CA-04) presented a $250,000 check to Mayor Margie Mohler and City Manager Brad Raulston for the Town of Yountville’s Resiliency Microgrid Project. The funding will help to build a microgrid to improve energy reliability in the town, which is frequently impacted by wildfires and power disruptions.
