Washington, D.C. – Today, Rep. Mike Thompson (CA-04) released the following statement in response to the Supreme Court’s ruling narrowing the power of district court judges to issue nationwide injunctions blocking federal government policies, including the President’s order to end birthright citizenship:

Washington, D.C. – This week, Representative Mike Thompson (CA-04) joined a dozen Members of the California Congressional Delegation to send a letter to the House Appropriations Committee calling for the Committee to reject the Trump Administration’s drastic cuts to U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). 

Washington – Rep. Mike Thompson (CA-04) led 18 of his California Democratic colleagues to call on Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Attorney General Pam Bondi, and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem to initiate an investigation into the unlawful and unnecessary federalization of the California National Guard in Los Angeles.
