Each year, this competition allows the chance for students to have their art displayed in the United States Capitol for an entire year.

The California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) proposed to significantly cut the net metering rate and apply a new tax on solar panels, leading to an average of a $90/month increase while decreasing the financial returns from selling excess energy.
