Washington, D.C. – Rep. Mike Thompson (CA-04) released the following statement in response to the President’s State of the Union address tonight:
“Tonight’s address was an insult to hardworking Americans. Since taking office, this president has waged an illegal tariff war that cost the average family $1,700, unleashed rogue immigration agents to terrorize people in our streets, and carried out dangerous military actions for oil without Congressional approval.

Thompson’s community project funding requests. Rep. Thompson secured $13,317,000 total for projects in California’s Fourth District in Fiscal Year (FY) 2026.
