Thompson and His Staff Meet with the Community in Sonoma County
Today, Rep. Mike Thompson (CA-04) and his entire staff team met with community members in Santa Rosa.The meeting came as part of a listening tour by Congressman Thompson and his team from both the district and his Washington D.C. office.
“Our district is my top priority, and I brought my entire staff team to our district to hear directly from my constituents about the issues impacting our community,” said Thompson. “Having the face-to-face interactions will help us form strong connections and be able to efficiently on behalf of our communities. It was great to have elected leaders, business leaders, community leaders, and others from Sonoma County join us today and to communicate about how we can best work together to support our community and deliver on our shared priorities.
“Over the next two years, I am focused on ensuring that my office is a resource for all of our district, and meetings like this will provide my staff with the hands-on experience needed to understand the local issues and connect with those we represent.”
Rep. Thompson is a senior member of the House Committee on Ways and Means and serves as the ranking member of the Subcommittee on Tax.
Following the 2020 Census, Rep. Thompson’s district was renumbered from the Fifth District to the Fourth District.
