Thompson Announces New Staff and Office Serving the People of Solano and Yolo Counties

Today, Rep. Mike Thompson (CA-04) announced a new office and three staff members to serve the people of Solano and Yolo Counties.

"I am thrilled to announce that Lucy Brazil, Erick Fierro, and Moises Díaz will be working in our new office," Rep. Thompson said. “Whether you need help with a federal agency, have a question about legislation, or just want to share your thoughts on an issue, my staff and I are here to help. I encourage constituents in Solano or Yolo Counties to call, email, or stop by my new office. My staff and I are here to serve, and we look forward to meeting constituents and helping them in any way we can.”

The office will be open to the public from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The phone number for the new office is 530-753-5301.

Rep. Thompson is hosting an open house for the new office on January 23 from 4pm-6pm. The full address of the office is 622 Main Street, Suite 106, Woodland, CA 95695.

The district staff covering Solano and Yolo Counties are:

Lucy Brazil was born and grew up in Yolo County. She received her bachelor’s degree in political science from The College of Wooster. Brazil worked for a political public relations firm in Sacramento and served as an Americorps member with City Year Washington DC. She has worked for the last year as the Field Director for Rep. Thompson’s re-election campaign. Brazil will serve as District Representative and cover Yolo County.

Erick J. Fierro enlisted in the Air Force after high school in March of 1993. Fierro received Associate degrees in Aviation Maintenance, Aviation Operations, and Instruction of Military Science from the College of the Air Force and a Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Grand Canyon University. Fierro is a retired Chief Master Sergeant and recently served as the Senior Enlisted Leader for the 60th Operations Group, Travis Air Force Base, California. He was the senior advisor to the Commander for daily operations of the largest Air Mobility Wing in the Air Force. He has deployed multiple times in support of Operations IRAQI and ENDURING FREEDOM, FREEDOM’S SENTINAL and INHERENT RESOLVE and has held key leadership positions at the squadron, group, wing, and headquarters level. Fierro has served as the Superintendent of the 380th Expeditionary Operations Group, leading over 1,200 Joint, Coalition and Total Force Personnel executing the most diverse mission set in the Air Force. Fierro currently lives in Vacaville. Fierro will serve as Field Representative for Solano County.

Moises Díaz completed his undergraduate degree at UC Davis in Cultural Anthropology and received a minor in Public Health Sciences. Prior to joining Rep. Thompson’s office, Díaz worked for non-profits for over a decade serving low-income and/or underinsured residents by connecting them to social and medical-care services through a Federally Qualified Healthcare Center. He also served on an HIV Prevention Planning Council and worked to advise the local health department on its response to HIV prevention needs. Díaz will serve as a Constituent Services Representative assisting constituents with casework.
