Summer Reading Challenge

Congressman Thompson has announced the Fourth Congressional District’s 2024 Summer Reading Challenge. This competition is intended to encourage all students through eighth grade to read books and continue stimulating their minds during their summer vacation. Every student who participates will be invited to attend a recognition event at the end of summer to celebrate continued learning.

Reading lists are developed by the Association for Library Service to Children and are broken down by grade-level, so all recommendations are age appropriate.
