Washington – Today, Gun Violence Prevention Task Force ChairRep. Mike Thompson (CA-04) and House Veterans’ Affairs Committee Ranking Member Mark Takano (CA-39) were joined by Task Force Vice Chairs Rep. Robin Kelly (IL-02), Rep. Lucy McBath (GA-07), and Rep. Maxwell Frost (FL-10) led 138 members of Congress calling on Veterans Affairs Secretary Denis McDonough to protect veterans and address some of the problems caused by the Kennedy Amendment.

Washington – Today, Rep. Mike Thompson (CA-04) announced that Liz Burrell Russell, the former manager of The Pathway Home in Yountville, will be his guest to the State of the Union. On March 9, 2018, the Pathway Home was the site of a murder-suicide that took the lives of three innocent women.
