In addition to Thompson, members of the Del Norte County Board of Supervisors, the Crescent City Mayor and City Council, the Del Norte County Emergency Services Coordinator and the Crescent City Harbor District Commissioners are also expected to attend the briefing and harbor tour.

“The economic downturn has created significant burdens for fire departments in Northern California and across the country,” said Rep. Thompson.
The forum will focus on potential solutions to the country's growing debt, including proposals from the Obama administration's National Commission on Fiscal Responsibility.
