Napa – Today, House Gun Violence Prevention Taskforce Chair Rep. Mike Thompson (CA-05) released the following statement after news broke of a mass shooting at Robb Elementary in Uvalde, Texas that is reported to have killed 14 students, one teacher, and injured others.
St. Helena – Today, Rep. Mike Thompson (CA-05) presented a $1,840,000 check to Adventist Health St. Helena Hospital leaders and Napa County officials for the Napa County Deer Park and St. Helena Hospital water system. This project will improve water infrastructure and increase onsite water storage at Adventist Health St. Helena Hospital, which owns and operates water storage, treatment, and distribution facilities that provide potable water to approximately 660 St. Helena residents and to hospital buildings.

St. Helena – Last night, Rep. Mike Thompson (CA-05) held a virtual reception with students from California's Fifth District who submitted pieces of art to his 2022 Congressional Art Competition. At the reception, Thompson celebrated all of the artists and announced the finalists from each county and the grand prize winner alongside a panel of judges.
