Mike Thompson (CA-04) today announced that he secured a $6.8 million federal grant from the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) to purchase six new Gillig hybrid-electric buses for the Napa Valley Transit Authority’s Vine Transit fleet. The funding comes from the FTA’s Low or No Emission Vehicle Grant Program, which helps communities replace aging buses with cleaner, more efficient transit options.
